Irish harpsichordist and organist Malcolm Proud studied at Trinity College, Dublin, and at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music with Gustav Leonhardt. First prize winner of the Edinburgh International Harpsichord Competition, and finalist in the Bruges International Harpsichord Competition, he has performed with the Academy of Ancient Music, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Chandos Baroque Players, the Monteverdi Choir, the Gabrieli Consort, the Irish Baroque Orchestra, and many others. Malcolm Proud is lecturer in music at the Waterford Institute of Technology and organist and choirmaster at St. Canice’s Cathedral in Kilkenny. |

The concert is free and open to the public. Ample parking is available behind the church, and the sanctuary is wheelchair–accessible. A reception for the artists will follow the concert.
